Best Hand
Participation in this game implies acceptance of all rules and conditions.
Entry:
- Each player is asked if they wish to enter the Best Hand promotion before the commencement of their first hand.
- Entry into Best Hand is OPTIONAL.
- The entry fee for Best Hand is typically $2, but may be $5 for larger games.
- The Tournament Director will record the names of those who have entered the Best Hand promotion.
Rules:
- The hand is null and void if the result was determined by a Rabbit Hunt.
- When a player wins a significant hand, they may alert the Tournament Director of their hand.
- The hand must be shown (tabled) so that all players at the table can clearly see the contents of the hand.
- The hand does not need to go to a showdown to be eligible.
- The player with the best hand at the break will win the kitty.
Special Circumstances:
- In the event of a split pot for the best hand (e.g., the board runs 4-4-4-4-A), all players involved in that hand will split the Best Hand pot.

Beat The Boss 2025
1. Promotion Overview
The Beat The Boss promotion runs over a 10-week period, culminating in a finals game.
Players earn leaderboard points throughout the 10 weeks by participating in games and achieving high placements.
The promotion includes special perks for leaderboard players and unique features during the finals.
2. Leaderboard System
Points will be awarded based on placement and participation in each game during the promotional period.
The leaderboard will be updated weekly and displayed at all games.
In the event of a tie in points, the tiebreaker will be determined by total number of games played, followed by highest placements.
3. Finals Game Structure
The finals game will take place at the end of the 10-week promotion.
During the finals, one secret boss will be assigned to each table in secrecy by the tournament director.
Players who eliminate a secret boss will receive a bounty prize, in addition to standard prizes.
4. Leaderboard Perks
Boss Protection: The top 5-6 players on the leaderboard are protected from being assigned as a secret boss during the finals.
Free Finals Entry: The top 5 players on the leaderboard will receive free entry into the finals game.
Free Entry for Next Season: The leaderboard winner will receive free entry into all games for the next promotional season.
Prizes and perks are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent.

6. Secret Boss Rules
Secret bosses will be assigned at random by the tournament director at the start of the finals game.
Boss identities will remain confidential and known only to the tournament director until they are eliminated.
Eliminating a secret boss will result in a bounty prize, which will be paid out immediately or at the end of the game, as determined by the director.
7. General Terms
The promotion is managed and operated by the River Rats Poker League.
River Rats Poker League reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice.
Any disputes or misconduct will be handled by the tournament director, whose decision is final.

From time to time, River Rats Poker League sends out Reminder SMS Messages to alert poker players of, but not limited to, upcoming events. These SMS may include relevant news and updates. These SMS Messages may include a CODEWORD to be replied to, to receive extra chips at the advertised Poker event. Additionally, poker players may be able to respond via Facebook either in the comments section of the post or via inbox.
Eligibility:
- Only recipients of the SMS or followers of the official River Rats Poker League Facebook page who are registered players of River Rats Poker League are eligible to participate.
- Players must be present at the advertised event to claim their extra chips.
Timing and Validity:
- The CODEWORD must be replied to within 24 hours of receiving the SMS or the Facebook post being made.
- The extra chips can only be claimed at the event specified in the SMS or Facebook post on the date and time mentioned. Claims outside this timeframe will not be honored.
Verification and Limitations:
- Players may be required to show the SMS or Facebook response at the event to verify their eligibility.
- Each player can only claim the extra chips once per promotion. Multiple claims or attempts to claim by the same player will not be accepted.

- The draw will be conducted each Wednesday at approximately 4 PM via the River Rats Poker League Facebook Page on a live recording.
- The prize is 7 days of free ENTRY (excluding addons, where they are not included in the initial buyin amount) into all River Rats Poker League games (games can be found HERE)
- The prize does not include rebuys or add-ons at participating games.
- The prize must be used within the next 7 days, and cannot be transferred to other weeks (see special circumstance #1).
- The prize cannot be transferred to another player.

- Entries must be received before 6:45 PM the night of the draw.
- The winning name of the successful entrant will be audibly and clearly announced so that all patrons who have a ticket in the draw have the opportunity of hearing the announcement.
- If the successful entrant fails to present themselves to the person who conducted the draw within 4 minutes of the announcement, a further draw will take place and the process continue until a successful entrant presents themselves.
- The successful entrant will have the opportunity to select from a deck of 20 playing cards, which are turned face down on a board. The prize is won if the successful entrant selects the Ace of Spades. If the Ace of Spades is not selected, the prize jackpots to the following week. The cards will be turned back face over and re-shuffled at random under supervision by the Poker Tournament Director and Bellevue Bar Staff management.

- The “Beat The Boss” promotion offers players the opportunity to win a jackpot by eliminating the designated “Boss” during a poker game. The jackpot starts at $50 and increases by $50 weekly, capped at a maximum of $500.
